Na noite da última quinta (19), foram revelados os vencedores do Critics' Choice Television Awards 2014, premiação da Associação dos Jornalistas de Televisão dos Estados Unidos. Transmitida ao vivo pelo canal The CW, a cerimônia foi apresentada pelo comediante e ator Cedric the Entertainer.
Além de eleger os vencedores em cada categoria, o Critics' Choice elegeu Extant, Gotham, Halt and Catch Fire, The Leftovers, Outlander, Penny Dreadful e The Strain como as séries estreantes mais empolgantes da temporada. Ryan Murphy (criador de Glee, American Horror Story e The Normal Heart) foi o grande homenageado da noite.
